Chest Of Travel To Secrets, XVIII, Graf Von Hohenthal.
Rare secret travel case packed with brass stamped and iron-clad, object of the XVIIIth, it is perhaps a work of Eastern Europe or German. Stamping consists of floral and volatile patterns. I suppose very strongly that this chest belonged to Graf von Hohenthal und Bergen (1853-1909, Wilhem von Hohenthal), Saxon ambassador in Berlin. Notebooks and some autograph writing have been found in the chest, they will be entrusted to the purchaser of this object. The safe is in very good condition and has its key. Height 19 cm, width 40 cm, depth 26,5 cm. The interior consists of nine cabinets, two removable partitions, each one showing a cabinet and a large hatch with brass hinges.
