Exceptional pendulum gilded bronze '' L'Amour gardener '' Empire Period circa 1805. Pendulum Angel gardener gilded bronze, showing a love perched on a ladder, catching a butterfly. The movement inscribed in an orange tray. The enamelled dial signed '' Josset in Rennes ''. On the left are a rake, a spade and a watering can. The set rests on a quadrangular base with projection, embellished with motifs in relief of crowns and a trophy with attributes of gardening and supported by six feet spinning top. Very beautiful and rare quality of execution. Magnificent brilliance of the mercury gilding originated with agate. Anchor escapement movement, suspension with silk thread, ringing at the passage of the hours and half with external wheel of account. In perfect working order. Revised by specialized watchmaker. Pendulum, stamp and key provided. Golden needles fleur de lys. Stamp, pendulum and key provided. H: 31 x W: 28 x D: 9 cm
