François Boucher, born September 29, 1703 in Paris where he died May 30, 1770, was a French painter, representative of the French rococo style. François Boucher is one of the most famous artists of the reign of Louis XV. Introduced to King by Madame de Pompadour, the royal favorite, he is one of the most prolific interpreters of French art rock. Master prolific, Boucher addressed all genres: painting religious, mythological subjects, rustic scenes, landscapes, animals, buildings and decorations of private houses, tapestry patterns. This is perhaps the most famous painter and decorative artist of the eighteenth century, which we could say that he was one of the purest geniuses. He considered himself a year before his death, having produced more than ten thousand drawings, but still found time to work ten hours a day in idyllic and voluptuous representations of classical, mythological and erotic themes, decorative allegories pastoral scenes. He was court painter to Louis XV and the favorite of the Marquise de Pompadour, he painted several portraits.
