Description :
Gilded bronze, mother-of-pearl, rosewood, blackened wood, glass.
This miniature furniture is shaped cabinet.
The door opens to become the writing tablet, it is decorated with a velvet with motifs similar to those of morocco.
Curved, pierced, and undulating letters holder carved from thin rosewood leaves, two molded glass inkwells and a moulded drawer.
The plinth, the door and the cornice are decorated with elegant marqueteries representing foliage, pearls and flowers.
Bronze molds and gilded brass decorate the whole.
The outside wood is a blackened pear tree with a French varnish.
State :
Outside in perfect condition, it has his pretty key. Inside : perfect condition too, there is simply a small accident to an inkwell and the natural wear of velvet.
