Pair Of Large Lamps XIXth - XXth
engraved and gilded bronze, lacquered beech.
These lamps consist of a large molded wooden pedestal, a column adorned with a base shaped like a crown of oak leaves, a fluted barrel and laurel.
This pedestal holds a basin with three feet, a firepot adorns the upper part of the stem of the electric sockets.
The interest of these lamps: their quality and the fact that they are planned for very large shade (60-70 x 40 cm).
It's an excellent work of decorator of the XXh : a pair of XIXth lamp legs was transformed into a lamp, the addition of the base and the firepot makes it a complete aesthetic lamp.
They are also very large lamps (115 cm), the three sockets allow a big lighting if necessary, the stem can be diminished to make a smaller lamp.
very good condition, beautiful gilding.
New sheathed and twisted wire.
A photographic montage was done to suggest the lamps with lampshades.
115 ( total height ) x 20 ( base diameter ) cm ;
