Great figure of gilt bronze Buddha called “ayutiya” because it was originally found in the ancient city of the same name (the former capital of Thailand). This buddha is represented standing and with the hands in front and palms facing forward, symbolizes the calm of the storm; it is a parable in which the Buddha calm a storm at sea. The gesture symbolizes the peace and stillness and liberation from fear. It's uploaded to a pedestal of bronze gold and red with a multitude of motifs and carved small pieces of glass embedded. The state of conservation is very good, although there are faults in the gold due to the passage of time.
