A lovely silver-plated tea and coffee set consisting of four pieces, a teapot, a coffee pot, a milk jug and a sugar bowl, with cut sides and rosewood grips or handles.
Each piece has a master goldsmith's mark (worn) and a silver weight mark.
This magnificent work can be attributed to the silversmith Armand Frénais, some pieces have a square hallmark with the silversmith's initials and a shape like an anchor.

Armand Frénais owned a silverware and cutlery factory located at 65 boulevard Richard Lenoir, Paris XIth, from 1877 to 1927.
He specialised in the sale of silver-plated articles, made of extra white metal that could be fired without alteration.
At the factory, a special workshop was dedicated solely to the re-silvering of English metal, as well as to the repair of all silverware.
