Colour print, signed by Alfred Defossez entitled "Le grand Prix" on a very nice Linters Vergé paper.
Alfred Defossez was born in 1932 in Paris Rive Gauche.
He is a lithographer painter with a lyrical style. His favourite themes are landscapes, Greek villages and racehorses.
His palettes gather flat tints of blue, green, lemon yellow and coloured whites in pink, yellow and green.

He was present at the Galeries Antipoète in Paris 1956, De L'Europe in Nice 1992, Drouant in Paris from 1966 to 1996, Jolla in California in 1965, Les Francs Bourgeois in Paris from 1985 to 1991, Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris in 1959, Place Beauvau in Paris in 1980, Raspail in Paris in 1958, Vaccarin in Florence in 1974.
He was awarded the International Gemail Prize in Tours in 1974 and is designated as a painter of light. He received the first prize at the Salon de Montrouge in 1968. He has an official acquisition from the Museum of Modern Art in Tel Aviv, Israel.
